The Worsley Arms Hotel: Local produce

Yorkshire has an array of excellent food and drink producers and, where possible we have negotiated with them to supply direct to the hotel. Our own view is that if every hotel made the effort to do this, the hospitality industry would be taking one more step towards reducing its carbon footprint (while keeping its guest's happy!).

While we'd love to say that all our purchases were local, there are still some products that are bought outside of Yorkshire - this generally means other parts of the North of England and the Midlands. There is an obvious need to balance the quality of the produce that we use with the environmental impact and we never take these decisions lightly.
