A typical running order for a Civil wedding ceremony, followed by a reception would be along the lines of:

 

1.15pm    Guests arrive, greeted by Groom and Best Man. Refreshments served in lounges (Tea and scones)

1.50pm    Guests to assemble in dining room for civil ceremony.

2.00pm    Bride to enter, ceremony to commence.

2.30pm    Celebration drinks served in garden. Jazz trio to play on patio. Group photographs, selection of hot and cold canapés served.

3.30pm    Bride, Groom and parents receive guests into the marquee.

3.45pm    Wedding Breakfast served.
